He is currently a Senior Director at Salesforce, responsible for enabling its Professional Services’ divisions in EMEA and AsiaPac. Prior to this, he led a team which supported the growth of Cisco’s worldwide Inside Sales organisation to achieve more than $4bn in revenue in 2015. Hitherto, he was involved in training & development, process re-engineering and project management at Nike and Time Warner. He has also started down the route of gaining a coaching qualification.

Educated at Oriel College, Oxford University Ian came away with a degree in Theology. He is married to the lovely Sarah, and they have two wonderful boys, Sam & Milo.

“My global perspective has convinced me that there are certain fundamental truths about what motivates success in others: passion derives from a true sense of contributing to something of greater value. This can only occur if one feels genuinely invested in an enterprise of any nature. Equally, disillusion comes from disempowerment – either directly through poor management or indirectly through discrimination, inequality and abuse of power. The founding principles of Charis seek to address disenfranchisement and its causes, be it gender-based abuse in the home or the workplace. I am profoundly grateful for the opportunity to participate in these aims, and committed to redressing the imbalances which currently exist in the office and wider society.”
